The statement “Right is right only when the entire.” explains that being honest means saying all of the truth without leaving anything out. Telling only half of the story is wrong. Such as if you tell your mom you are going to the library to study with a friend, then you and that friend study for about ten minutes in the library and then leave to hang out with other friends which is already wrong. But you decide to do it anyway and then your mom asks you what you did and all you say is studied with your friend you are not doing right. This is wrong because it is not the entire truth which is considered as lie.

The Naturopathic Doctor

Duties and Responsibilities:

ND’s perform minor surgeries, such as removing cysts or stitching up superficial wounds. However, they do not not practice major surgery. NDs are also trained to utilize prescription drugs.

Salary: $80,000-$90,000 per year

Education:

Step 1: Obtain a Bachelor's Degree.

Step 2: Obtain a Medical Degree from an Approved School.

Step 3: Complete a Graduate-Level Program in Naturopathic Medicine.

Step 4: Pass the Naturopathic Physicians Licensing Examinations (NPLEX)

Step 5: Fulfill State Licensure Requirements.

Step 6: Participate in a Residency Program.

The demand for this profession is going to increase in the next few years.

Reflection:

I would consider becoming a Naturopathic Doctor because it seems like a job I could do and like.

Military Doctor

Duties and Responsibilities:

Addresses jobs in the medical, dental and veterinary fields. These MOSs cover a variety of responsibilities throughout the military health care field, from clinical setting to point of injury.

Salary:

As of 2013 they earn $65,544 annually.

Education:

You must obtain a bachelor’s degree, medical degree and all applicants must meet a health, character and age requirement.

Reflection: I would not consider becoming a military doctor because I want to choose another career.

Good Quality People

“Associate yourself with men of good quality if you esteem your own reputation; for ’tis better yo be alone than in bad company.”

The statement explains that the people you hang around with is the way you’ll be. If you hang around people who do drugs eventually you’ll get curious and try drugs. Hanging around people who smoke cigarettes will be a temptation to try them. Plus it’s bad for your health. On the other hand if you hang with people who try their best always it will be good for you. They can try to bring the best out of you. They’ll support you and won’t get you into any trouble. It is also not a good thing to associate with people who cause trouble because others believe you are just like them. Although you don’t do anything to cause trouble associating with people who do will make other people people believe you are just like them and cause trouble. You may also get blamed for things you didn’t do.

President's Day

1.President’s Day is an American holiday originally established in 1885 in recognition  of President George Washington, it is still officially called “Washington’s Birthday”. Since Abraham Lincoln's birthday is on February 12 they decided to celebrate both days  in between both birthdays and call it “President’s Day”.

2.Presidents Day is celebrated on the third Monday in February.

3.Several states honor presidents with official state holidays that do not fall on the third Monday of February.

4.Presidents Day can be celebrated by devoting time with your family and educating them about Washington’s history and the history of the emergence of our country.

Chris Paul Story

The story is about Chris Paul and his greatest achievement. He was really close to his grandfather, Wesley Jone. His grandfather always supported him and would go to his basketball games. But one day Chris Paul’s grandfather was murdered and it made Chris Paul sad. So then he decided that on the next game a few days after his grandfather was killed that he would score 61 points because his grandfather lived for 61 years. Chris Paul thought to himself it was impossible but tried his best either way and completed his goal.

The statement “In life as in football, you won’t go far, unless you know where the goalposts are” explains that you must must know what you are working so hard to achieve. It won’t matter if you work so so hard to achieve nothing because you had no goal in mind. Plus having a goal motivates you to try harder. If you decide decide you want to become a doctor push hard to achieve that goal. Having not goal means doing nothing. You may succeed in life without having a goal but having a goal in mind means you are pushing yourself and going farther than you would have. It gives you a reason to push yourself and try harder everyday. After you have completed that goal get a new one. It never hurts to keep creating goals and pushing yourself harder. It’s better than doing nothing and being lost.

Duties and Responsibilities:

A lawyer is a person who practices law, as an advocate, barrister, attorney, counselor or solicitor or chartered legal executive.

Salary:

Average salary for a lawyer is $160,000.

Education:

Lawyers must have extensive training in legal procedure, writing and research. After earning a undergraduate degree, aspiring lawyers must complete law school and earn a Juris Doctor. All lawyers must pass their state’s bar exam to practice.

Demand for this career:

Employment for lawyers is projected to grow 6 percent from 2014 to 2024, about as fast as the average for all occupations. Demand for legal work is expected to continue as individuals, businesses, and all levels of government require legal services in many areas.

Reflection: I would consider becoming a lawyer because it is something that has always  interested me.

The statement “Even if everyone is doing it, WRONG IS NEVER RIGHT.” explains that you should never do something if you know it’s wrong even if everyone else in the world is doing it. If your whole school is cheating and the teachers don’t care. Don’t do it because you know it’s wrong and you won’t learn. It also feels makes you feel bad when you know you are doing something CTW. Another example can be if all your friends do something and they tell you it’s fine it won’t hurt you or anyone else but you know it’s wrong don’t do it.
