President's Day

1.President’s Day is an American holiday originally established in 1885 in recognition  of President George Washington, it is still officially called “Washington’s Birthday”. Since Abraham Lincoln's birthday is on February 12 they decided to celebrate both days  in between both birthdays and call it “President’s Day”.
2.Presidents Day is celebrated on the third Monday in February.

3.Several states honor presidents with official state holidays that do not fall on the third Monday of February.

4.Presidents Day can be celebrated by devoting time with your family and educating them about Washington’s history and the history of the emergence of our country.

6.George Washington was offically born on February 22, 1732.
