Duties and responsibilities 
A neurosurgeon is a physician who specializes in the diagnosis and surgical treatment of disorders of the central and peripheral nervous system including congenital anomalies, trauma, tumors, vascular disorders, infections of the brain or spine and many others. 
Salary: 
Around $393,070 per year. 
Education: 
Before starting residency training, aspiring neurosurgeon must complete four years of undergraduate school followed by four years of medical school. 
Demand for this profession: 
The demand for this profession seems to increase as the years go on.

I would not consider becoming a neurosurgeon because I have another career in mind.
